Matt’s love of theatre started in elementary school and he has been pursuing the performing arts ever since. An accomplished cellist and pianist, Matt’s foundation of music has provided a deep respect and understanding of classical music and theory. He has BFA from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, New Studio on Broadway with a minor from Stern School of Business in Business of Entertainment, Theatre, and Media.

Matt gained immeasurable knowledge and training in Acting, Singing, and Dance under studio head, Kent Gash at NYU. He most recently starred in NSB’s production of Six Degrees of Separation as Flan. Matt worked and starred in numerous productions affiliated with North Carolina Theatre, including Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Crazy for You, Oklahoma!, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Bring it On. Other North Carolina productions include Memphis, Avenue Q, and Spring Awakening.
